Simon James has been writing and performing for over 30 years. He has written alongside many artists and performed with some of the biggest acts in the UK country and Americana scene. Simon is making huge waves in the UK Folk, Country and Americana scene with the help of his clear talent and his army of ‘Dodgy Jamers’ (the nickname his fans have adopted for their fan club). The past couple of years alone have seen Simon sign a publishing deal with First Original Music, record a new album with renowned Record Producer Kevin Duncan, write with talented artists in the scene and be nominated as 'Horizon Act of the Year' at the British Country Music Awards and play with his full band at the BCMA awards. His new album Happy Ever After -recorded under GingerDog Records It has now been nominated as the Album of the Year at the British Country Music Awards 2019.
